As we enter our second full year of production, we have some new wines to offer and also the new 2014 vintage of our Rose. We do not fine or filter any of our wines, and rack only prior to bottling. As an introduction and for future reference, while our Pinot Noir and Rosé are named as such, we have created separate names for our Rhone blends which will be used each year for continuity. While the percentages of each varietal may change from year to year depending on what nature brings us, you can always know that the focus of each of the named wines will feature a dominant varietal, as follows: BEL CANTO – Grenache focused wines from the Sierra Foothills, El Dorado County MR. BURGESS– Syrah focused wines from the Sierra Foothills, El Dorado County RUBEN – Mourvèdre focused wines from the Sierra Foothills, El Dorado County CODY – Grenache focused wines from Mendocino County

This Chablis style wine offers up beautiful citrus and wet stone flavors, highlighted by lemon essence and saline notes, buttressed by strong balancing acidity. The medium bodied frame is layered and textured, evolving and integrating with time and air. Balanced and elegant, this wine is best served at or slightly above cellar temperature.
